My Layouts

I have been fortunate enough to have 3 different layouts in my lifetime.  My first layout was a Lionel 3-rail, c1959, that my Dad and I built when I was growing up.  Unfortunately, no pictures.

My second layout was a road-and-rail, c 1998, in RAMONA, Ca where my son grew up.  An HO scale Tyco slot car track and HO scale railroad were constructed on a table of two 4x8 plywood sheets arranged in a T.  The 2 roads crossed each other.

My current layout is a modular HO scale railroad designed and built in VISALIA, Ca, c2012. It had 6 modules formed in a loop.  80% of my scenery photos are in this album.

Only 4 modules were moved to Vista due to access restrictions in our present home. The VISTA layout is now more of a diorama for displaying my models, but there is enough open track to do some switching ops. Very little has changed in the scenery since Visalia, but 4 turnouts were added in Vista for another access into the yard.
